As a teacher, leader, and change agent she is actively engaged in both local and national communities in hopes of creating new opportunities.

Dr. Williams currently serves as the Managing Director of the Gordon Engineering Leadership Center at U.C. San Diego.  This position allows her to merge her technical and professional experience into endeavors that promote the nurturing of the future engineering leaders through course development and partnering with engineering leaders to mentor and teach the students.

Dr. Williams earned her B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Brown University and the University of Washington, respectively. She also has a Masters in Industrial Business Management from the Lille Business School in France.
